My preconceived notion about the class was that for me it was going to be a difficult class since I had little knowledge about computers. Therefore, I really didn't know what to expect. However, I felt that taking the class would give me a better understanding of computers, expecially when the percentage of my time would be spent using the computer not just for college work, but home usage as well.What made this class very interesting and rewarding was the patience and time that was taken to explain the various issues that we encounter throughout the use of the data systems. I gained a clearer understanding of how to perform task such as the merging of business letters/invitations, spread sheets, and the use of my best friend the un-do tool, which is something I rarely used before this class.This class was benefit to me because there is so much one can learn and will always use, whether they are knowledgeable about computers or not. However, some of the text book assignments were somewhat difficult to understand, and could have been performed in class for a clearer understand of pre-class assignments.
